Global Network Views
NeuralStar delivers the NOC level visibility network managers need to manage dynamic, complex, and global networks. It provides a dashboard that provides each level of NOC staff with the right integrated decision data. Take a look at our core network views that handle most of the routine network management tasks and our targeted problem solving views in our dashboard gallery.
OpsCenter View
Ops Center displays a top-down, consolidated view of your entire network operations from a single screen. View your local networks or distributed networks across the globe in a NOC view.
Inventory List View
When troubleshooting use the inventory list view to display, filter, and sort inventory objects in the discovered network. Quickly identify a subset of objects in a large network based on attributes such as device type, display name, and IP address, or match a DNS name to an IP address.
Device View
Click on any element name in OpsCenter or Inventory List View and go right to a detailed view of that device. Device views present detailed status, device information, and performance metrics for a particular device, for instance a LAN switch. Because device views contain everything related to a device, you don’t need to open and view multiple screens to monitor and troubleshoot a device.
Interface View
From the Device View, click on any interface name for a similarly comprehensive view in the Interface View screen. The interface view shows detailed status and performance metrics for a device interface. Monitor interface utilization, throughput, traffic levels, and packet discards and errors.
Targeted Views
When it comes to visualization, NeuralStar’s capacity to quickly and easily create and customize dashboards for targeted uses such as application and bandwidth management is unmatched. See the Dashboard Gallery for examples that step you through creating a management center specific to your unique network.
NeuralStar’s enterprise grade visualization features enable you to:
- modify any NeuralStar screen easily to meet your special needs. For example, resize maps at will or drop down the menu beneath a chart or graph to select a different metric
- keep an unlimited number of tabbed windows available at once, so when you click to open a Device View window, for example, OpsCenter is still there in a tab behind it. No waiting to reload or constantly move up and down between detail level views
- move sideways to the detail views of the next element upstream or downstream with just a click in Device and Interface views
-
provide synchronized global and local views of network conditions to manage networks more efficiently
-
monitor alerts, system status and network performance trends through an easy-to-use, flexible and configurable graphical display
-
view all fault, security, QoS and SLA events for all devices, ports, applications and services
